We welcome one or two small or 'medium' sized and well-trained dogs. We know how important it is to come on holiday with your companion or the family pet and we make no extra charge. However, three fifths of our family are allergic to dogs, and furthermore, most of the carpets are plain and pale. The difficulty of cleaning up after muddy paws doesn't bear thinking about! We therefore respectfully request that dogs be confined to the kitchen where they could, for example, be provided with a basket near the Rayburn. There is also a storm porch off the kitchen which would be large enough. The double garage, too, would provide yet more indoor space, if required. The garden is enclosed - but please double check with respect to your particular dog(s) - and is large enough to run around in. But please be aware that, being situated amidst common land on the mountain side, sheep, cattle and horses wander freely around outside the house. The paddock adjoining the cottage may have animals in, too. The following conditions apply: 1 Owners are responsible for any extra cleaning that may be necessary both internally and in the garden. 2 Pets must be kept under control and not cause a nuisance to neighbouring properties or animals. 3 Pets are not to be left alone in the cottage. 4 No guard dogs. |
