The West Wales coastal strip has some of the best weather in Britain. Rumour has it that Newport enjoys - or suffers - the same rainfall per annum that Guildford does. Now we've never lived in Surrey, but... Pembrokeshire enjoys comparatively sunny weather compared to other parts of Wales, and its climate is certainly mild in winter, with few frosts, being warmed as it is by the western approaches of the Gulf Stream. However, Newport Mountain is exposed to the elements - particularly, of course, the wind. So come prepared! |
